Things to do in winter
Zillertal is not only great for skiing and snowboarding - there are also numerous activities away from the ski slopes, such as tobogganing, snow shoe trekking and lots more. One cross-country skiing trail starts directly at the apartments! Numerous ski lodges are great places for refreshment stops! Skiers and snowboarders can look forward to 143 km of ski slopes with 52 cable cars and ski lifts. A free ski-bus stops right in front of the house!
Skiing & Snowboarding
Enjoy skiing on 139 km of slopes in the Zillertal Arena. And there's no need to worry: skiing is guaranteed here throughout the winter. Ski lifts from 1,300 m to 2,500 m are at your disposal from the beginning of December to Easter in the Zillertal Arena. Numerous ski lodges and snow bars are inviting places for cosy refreshment stops.

Tobogganing
You can enjoy a great tobogganing trip on Gerlosstein. Tobogganing fun is really extensive on the 7 km toboggan run. But should that ever be not sufficient, there are other toboggan runs too. In the holiday villages within the Zillertal Arena (Zell, Gerlos, Wald-Königsleiten, Krimml-Hochkrimml) there are 6 toboggan runs, some of which are floodlit, where a refreshment stop in one of the cosy traditional mountain lodges is simply irresistible. Night owls are also well catered for by tobogganing in the Zillertal Arena because some of our toboggan runs are open in the evening.
Cross-Country Skiing
Cross-country skiing is an ideal sport for restoring harmony in body and soul. There is something to suit everyone on the various cross-country trails - from "classic" to "skating". Leave your own thoughts behind and head for the finish.
It is a sport that carefully strengthens all the muscles and joints, leaving enough time to enjoy the unique winter landscape in all of the holiday resorts in the Zillertal Arena to the full.
Winter Hiking
Dive into the snow-covered winter landscape and enjoy some fantastic hikes. There is still a lot to discover and experience in the Zillertal Arena away from the action on the piste. Whether it's a leisurely stroll or extended hike - there is guaranteed to be something for everyone here. Enjoy some great time out!
